Terms of Service

Version 2026-04-23 • Last updated April 23, 2026

1. What this service is and is not

Pooformance is a paid digital service that generates an informational stool report from a photo and the details you submit. The report is designed to help pet owners understand what may be visible, what may be worth watching, what practical home-care steps may fit, and when veterinary follow-up may be appropriate.

It is not veterinary medicine, not a diagnosis, not treatment, not a prescription, not a monitoring service, not emergency triage, and not a substitute for an in-person veterinary exam. You must not use the service to decide to delay, avoid, or replace professional veterinary care.

Informational only

AI-generated observations are educational and support-oriented, not clinical advice or instructions to delay care.

Single purchase

Each report is a one-time paid service for a single submitted image and checkout session.

Urgent symptoms

If your pet appears seriously unwell, is declining, or has urgent symptoms, contact a veterinarian immediately.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You may use the service only if you can legally enter a binding agreement and are using the service for lawful, personal, or internal household purposes. You must not use the service to upload unlawful content, impersonate others, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the platform, or present the output as professional medical or veterinary advice.

3. Photos, content, and permissions

You confirm that you have the right to upload the photo and any related information you submit. You retain your rights in that content, but you grant us a limited license to store, process, reproduce, and use it for checkout, fraud prevention, report generation, attaching the submitted photo to the report page and PDF, customer support, internal quality review, and improving our product and future report quality for customers.

We do not need this license for unrelated advertising uses, and these photo uses are limited to operating, supporting, and improving the service and the reports we deliver.

4. Payments, refunds, and retries

Payment is processed by PayPal or the payment provider shown at checkout. Prices, taxes, and currency are shown at checkout. Unless required by law, completed digital analyses are generally non-refundable once processing has started, because the service incurs immediate compute and processing costs.

If the paid review cannot clearly confirm that the photo shows stool or the image is too blurry for a reliable read, the product flow may allow one replacement-photo retry. If that included retry still cannot confirm the right photo, we may issue a refund or another remedy in our discretion.

5. Your responsibility, emergencies, and no reliance

You remain solely responsible for your pet's care, observation, feeding choices, hydration decisions, exercise decisions, medication decisions, and for obtaining veterinary or emergency treatment when needed. Any action you take after using the service is your responsibility.

Do not rely on the service if your pet may need urgent care. Seek prompt veterinary attention instead of waiting for or relying on the report if your pet appears distressed, collapses, has repeated vomiting, difficulty breathing, seizures, major bleeding, black or tar-like stool, significant blood in stool, marked lethargy, inability to keep water down, painful straining, abdominal pain, or any rapid decline. These examples are not exhaustive.

6. AI limitations and no veterinary relationship

Outputs may be incomplete, incorrect, delayed, unavailable, or unsuitable for your situation. A photo-based report may miss important context, may fail to identify urgent disease, and may not match what a veterinarian would conclude after an exam, history, testing, or follow-up.

Your use of the service does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship, medical provider relationship, fiduciary relationship, monitoring obligation, or emergency duty of care.

7. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for decisions, actions, treatment changes, delays in care, missed conditions, worsening illness, death, or other outcomes arising from use of or reliance on the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, business interruption, or veterinary outcomes arising from use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for a claim relating to a specific paid report will not exceed the amount you paid for that report.

8. Changes, suspension, and contact

We may update these terms, change features, suspend access, or discontinue the service. Material updates will be reflected on this page by a new version or date. Questions about these terms can be sent through support@poo-formance.com.
